BAE Unit to Develop Dual Band Decoy Tech for Navy
BAE Systems' information and electronic systems business has won a $36.7M contract to develop and demonstrate a dual dand decoy platform for the U.S. Navy. The company will equip the decoy with multiple technologies and expand systems related to fiber optic and advanced airborne expendable decoys of the F/A-18E/F aircraft, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

HII Taps AMSC for LPD 30 Degaussing System

Huntington Ingalls Industries has selected AMSC to deliver a degaussing system for a San Antonio-class ship. HII plans to install the degaussing system into a high temperature conductor-based security system intended for the Flight II-class LPD 30 amphibious transport dock vessel, AMSC said Monday.
