Carahsoft Technology has entered into separate partnerships with Nothreat and Hyperproof to expand government access to cybersecurity and compliance technologies. The company announced the Nothreat agreement Thursday and the Hyperproof partnership Wednesday. Under both agreements, Carahsoft will serve as the companies’ master government aggregator, making their offerings available to the public sector through its reseller partners and procurement contracts.

What Cybersecurity Capabilities Will Nothreat Bring to Government?

Brian O’Donnell, vice president of cybersecurity solutions at Carahsoft, said Nothreat’s preemptive threat detection and prevention platform, which includes actionable threat intelligence, deception technology and automated protection, allows organizations to spot and respond to advanced threats like zero-day exploits before they hit production environments.

The platform includes CyberEcho deception technology that sets up decoy copies of IT services within an organization’s environment to help identify suspicious activity. It also includes an AI offering that uses behavioral analysis to classify attackers without relying on known attack signatures.

ThreatShield is an automated threat intelligence capability that can send validated information to existing firewalls from more than 20 vendors, while AI Analyzer works to turn attack data into risk summaries for executives and detailed investigation views for security analysts, with the data staying inside the organization’s environment.

How Will Hyperproof Support Government Compliance?

The partnership with Hyperproof provides government agencies, defense industrial base suppliers and federal contractors access to governance, risk and compliance, or GRC, automation, continuous compliance and risk management capabilities.

Hyperproof’s tools are designed to automate evidence collection and map controls across requirements such as the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification, Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-53 and NIST SP 800-171. The company said its offering is FedRAMP Class C Certified under revision 5 and is designed to support enterprise CMMC programs.

“Hyperproof’s modern approach to GRC automation and continuous compliance strengthens our portfolio with a solution designed to help organizations streamline evidence collection, manage controls and maintain ongoing audit readiness,” said O’Donnell.

Which Procurement Channels Will Agencies Use?

Carahsoft will offer Nothreat through reseller partners and contracts, including The Interlocal Purchasing System, OMNIA Partners, E&I Cooperative Services Contract, and The Quilt. Hyperproof will be available through those channels as well as NASA’s Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V and the National Association of State Procurement Officials ValuePoint program.
