Barry Salzberg, CEO of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd., has joined the board of directors of venture philanthropy and social innovation organization New Profit Inc.
Salzberg will support New Profit’s growth strategy and work to help develop new approaches for driving social change such as finding financing vehicles and public-private partnerships, New Profit announced Tuesday.
He said that New Profit has prepared to scale its social innovation programs for connecting undeserved community youths with employment and training programs.
New Profit said it intended for the appointment to bolster its relationship with Deloitte.
