Lockheed to Build Jordan’s F-16 Air Combat Training Centers

F16FleetLockheed Martin has received a $39.5 million foreign military sales contract from the U.S. Air Force to establish and maintain two F-16 air combat training centers for Jordan’s military.

The Defense Department said Wednesday that Lockheed will also provide logistics support to Jordan and is scheduled to complete work under the sole-source contract by Sept. 15, 2020.

The contracting activity is the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center.

The F-16 multirole fighter  jets are currently used by 28 defense customers worldwide.
