Air, formerly known as Govini, announced Wednesday that it has won a $31 million contract from the Department of War to support the U.S. Air Force’s LGM-30G Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile and the broader ICBM enterprise.
The award extends a relationship that began in 2022, when the company started supporting the Air Force Global Strike Command’s Minuteman III, the only ICBM currently in service as part of the U.S. nuclear triad.

What Are the Terms of Air’s Contract Award From DOW?
More than five decades into its service life, the Minuteman III program faces mounting supply chain pressure, including possible discontinuation of critical parts. Under the new contract, Air will provide its Enterprise Readiness platform, which will work to give users an integrated view of the industrial base and supply chains underpinning ICBMs. This integrated view is expected to enable the identification of supply chain gaps and the assessment of risks.
Work on the contract, which will be carried out at the ICBM program offices at Hill Air Force Base in Utah, will cover not only continued obsolescence management for Minuteman III but also support for procurement activities tied to Sentinel, its intended successor. The period of performance is expected to run through June 2029.
What Did Air’s CEO Say About the DOW Contract for the Enterprise Readiness Platform?
Tara Murphy Dougherty, CEO of Air, commented on the challenges facing the ICBM capabilities of the U.S., saying, “The ICBM enterprise serves as a cornerstone of our national nuclear deterrence strategy, but fragmented systems and opaque supply chains hobble it.”
Dougherty went on to tout the benefits of the Air Enterprise Readiness platform, through which “defense leadership can drastically accelerate mission readiness where absolute operational reliability is required.”
