What Does BAE Systems’ Velhawk Do?

Velhawk delivers cyber posture improvements through automation of detection, decision-making and remediation processes, BAE Systems said Wednesday. The new cybersecurity platform leverages artificial intelligence, adaptive analytics, threat intelligence and secure data management to form a unified, modernized cyber defense environment that enables agencies to prioritize mission-critical tasks while monitoring and responding to evolving threats.

“Our customers are operating in an era where the attack surface is expanding faster than the workforce can grow,” said Peder Jungck, BAE Systems’s chief innovation and strategy officer for the intelligence and security sector.

“Velhawk gives them the advantage they need now — a way to automate defense, outpace threats, and elevate human expertise through autonomy and AI. It’s not just about reacting faster, it’s about predicting what comes next,” he added.
