Melissa Ewell, a U.S. Navy and special operations community veteran with over 20 years of leadership experience, will be joining Kpler’s global defense and intelligence team in January.
“As our team continues to scale across Defense, Intelligence, and Federal Civilian markets, Melissa will play a key role in navigating the complex, classified environments where Kpler’s data and capabilities are increasingly essential,” Brian Kesecker, global head of defense and intelligence at data and analytics company Kpler, wrote in a LinkedIn post announcing the move.
Who Is Melissa Ewell?
According to Kesecker’s post, Ewell most recently served as a GS-15 logistics director at Naval Systems Management Activity. In this capacity, she managed high-security engineering programs, discreet logistics, transportation and hazardous materials operations across classified environments.
She also served as director of identity and signature management at Naval Special Warfare Group Eight, where she co-developed the Integrated Mission Assurance program.
Her career has included close coordination with military and federal agency partners, including U.S. Special Operations Command, Defense Intelligence Agency, FBI, CIA and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
Ewell said in a LinkedIn post that she is excited to join Kpler, where she looks forward to contributing her ideas and helping turn business proposals into reality.
