Andrew Adams, a former Lockheed Martin executive, has joined Boeing as vice president and program manager of the T-7A Red Hawk and T-7 Advanced Trainer programs. Adams announced his appointment on LinkedIn Wednesday.
“The T-7A Redhawk is a game changer when it comes to training future fighter & bomber pilots for the U.S. Air Force and air forces around the world. Digitally designed, built and tested, the T-7A will better prepare pilots for their critical missions with fly-by-wire controls, an advanced cockpit and integrated Live-Virtual-Training,” said Adams.
“Protecting our warfighters, by delivering this new platform’s standard of safety and training is what this team is all about,” he added.
Adams’ Lockheed Martin Career
Adams spent nearly 38 years at Lockheed Martin before his move to Boeing. He most recently served as VP of Sikorsky Future Vertical Lift under the rotary and mission systems business for over six years, where he was responsible for driving strategies and enhancing operations supporting the FVL program.
The executive was vice president and deputy general manager of the F-35 Lightning II program at Lockheed’s aeronautics business. Adams spent nearly three decades at Lockheed Skunk Works, serving as VP of advanced systems for the last four years.
