Jason Hutchison has joined Precision Talent Solutions as consulting services director, bringing with him nearly 20 years of experience in diplomacy, development and defense. In his new role, Hutchison will lead Precision Experts, a new service that will work to link government contracting organizations with senior-level experts for project-based engagements, PTS said Wednesday.
International Consultancy Experience
Hutchison founded the consulting firm Portage Global, where he provided multinational companies and investors with advisory services on geopolitical risk management and international affairs. His other previous work experience includes serving as a partner at Lykke Global Advisors, a joint venture providing strategic advisory services.
In addition, he had a stint at Abt Global as senior director and client account lead and climate mitigation. Hutchison also worked at Deloitte for over four years, with his last role being senior manager and global sector specialist.
Foreign Service Veteran
A former U.S. foreign service officer, he worked at the U.S. Department of State for over 11 years, serving last at the Office of Near Eastern Affairs. Hutchison currently co-chairs the International Stability Operations Association’s Committee on International Affairs.
Jake Frazer, PTS co-founder and president, conveyed the company’s excitement in welcoming Hutchison. He noted Hutchison’s leadership capability in pursuing Precision Experts’ goal of connecting senior level subject matter experts with Precision Talent’s industry partners through a more cost-effective, leaner and friendlier approach.
“Jason has made the transition from government into industry and has a great background in consulting, so he will lead this business line with great empathy and expertise,” Frazer said.
