Sikorsky Gets Navy Order for Executive Transport Helicopter Rework - top government contractors - best government contracting eventLockheed Martin‘s Sikorsky Aircraft subsidiary has been awarded a $15.1 million delivery order from the U.S. Navy to perform rework services on two helicopter platforms built to transport high-level government officials.

Sikorsky will provide security, project and sustainment engineering, integrated logistics, training, programming and material support services for the VH-3D and VH-60N  helicopters, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

The order was issued by the Naval Air Systems Command against an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for special progressive aircraft rework of both executive-transport helicopters.

DoD noted that Sikorsky will perform work through November 2018 and the Navy will obligate $9.8 in fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
