construction-blueprints-designAtkins North America Inc. has been awarded a potential five-year, $45 million contract to provide architectural and engineering services to the U.S. Army and Air National Guard.

Atkins will work to design programs and perform construction support to the Army and ANG in the continental U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam and Virgin Islands, the Defense Department said Monday.

The Dallas, Texas-based company provides design, engineering and project management consulting services.

The Army received 33 proposals for the contract via the Internet and will determine work locations and funds with each order.

Atkins is scheduled to complete work Aug. 7, 2021.
