MCR Federal has received a potential 35-month, $3.1M task order from the U.S. Air Force to continue the provision of support services to the Space and Missile Systems Center's special programs directorate.

The company said Tuesday it will support the directorate’s strategic communications, facilities planning, acquisition, manpower and executive front office under the task order.

MCR will also help the directorate equip commanders with space capacities and carry out software design and development efforts at the Kobayashi Maru facility.

The task order represents an exercised option under a previously awarded $9.4M contract in 2019.

“We have been an active partner with SMC for the past 27 years and we are excited to continue this support to the Special Programs Directorate,“ said Jesse Celis, vice president of space programs at MCR.
