BAE Systems’ combat mission systems business is set to start building its new site in Maple Grove, Minnesota here, with completion expected in 2025. The 236,000-square-foot facility will showcase advanced technology and infrastructure as well as energy-efficient designs in line with the company’s carbon neutrality goal by 2030, BAE Systems said Tuesday.
A subsidiary of Airbus U.S. Space & Defense has opened a new hangar in Mobile, Alabama, dedicated to maintenance, repair and overhaul work on various U.S. military aircraft. Rob Geckle, chairman and CEO of Airbus, said the company has invested between $5 million and $10 million in the construction of the new military aircraft hangar, which adds nearly 18,000 square feet of workspace for Airbus U.S. Military Aircraft, bringing the total area of the company's Mobile site to around 65,000 square feet.
Invictus International Consulting has unveiled a strategic expansion plan to increase its presence in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as it seeks to strengthen its partnerships with defense and civilian agencies.
