Stephen Townsend, a retired U.S. Army four-star general who served as combatant commander of Africa Command, was added to the federal advisory board of Primer Technologies. He brings over three years of AFRICOM leadership experience and several years of Army service to the federal advisory board, which was establishd to provide Primer with expertise and operation insights as the company works to deliver artificial intelligence tools to analysts and operators.

Five public and private sector veterans have been appointed to the strategic advisory board at Boulder, Colo.-based quantum technology developer ColdQuanta. Donald Kerr, former principal deputy director of national intelligence and current chairman of Mitre's board of trustees, will lead ColdQuanta's newly established board, the company said Tuesday.
