The company said Monday that it plans to prioritize military position, navigation and timing innovation and would need strategic counsel from Thompson as it partners with defense and industry to develop robust test equipment for emerging navigation warfare technologies.

Honeywell has secured a potential eight-year, $70 million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to provide spare parts for a company-built radar altimeter technology used in U.S. Army helicopters. The Department of Defense said Friday the contract will cover spares and repairs for the Radar Altimeter Common Core APN-209, including receiver transmitters and indicator receiver transmitters.

According to the report, SpaceX secured a potential $1.8 billion contract from the National Reconnaissance Office in 2021 for the classified satellite project.

Mynaric has completed the initial deliveries of its free space optical communications terminal for multiple space-to-space and space-to-ground applications.
