Raytheon Technologies' intelligence and space business has partnered with the U.S. Air Force to accelerate response times to 911 calls at areas near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.

The company said Tuesday it plans to lower response times by two to six minutes by using of the Team Awareness Kit server to disseminate 911 call data to USAF emergency response services.

The said suite of technologies offers a moving-map toolkit for situational awareness, and is available for integration with TAK-specific platforms and legacy systems.

Brad Tousley, president of Raytheon BBN Technologies, said the automatic distribution of emergency data through an intuitive interface will potentially lessen response times.

Raytheon Technologies has collaborated with New York-based incident management services provider SimpleSense for the project.
