Bastion Technologies will continue to support safety and mission assurance efforts at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama under a $33.9M contract modification.

The award increases the potential value of a potential eight-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract the agency issued three years ago to $266.7M, NASA said Friday.

Under the IDIQ, Bastion assists the Marshall center and other agency facilities in areas such as engineering, industrial safety, management, reliability and maintainability, quality and project assurance, reporting, risk management, documentation and independent assessment.

The original contract took effect Nov. 1, 2017, and includes six option years, according to the agency.
