TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 23, 2020 — KBR (NYSE: KBR) received a three-year contract from the U.S. Army Installation Management Command to provide a managed service intended to help military police collect and store video evidence, ExecutiveGov reported Jan. 16.
The company said Jan. 16 it will equip military police vehicles with mobile communications, ruggedized computers, digital video recorders and dash cameras to support IMCOM's Mobile Federal Law Enforcement Enterprise Technology Service initiative, the company said Jan. 16.
KBR added it will link the equipment to the company’s Evidence Collection Archive and Retrieval Service platform and may provide the video evidence management service to more than 40 Department of Defense facilities throughout the duration of the contract.
Byron Bright, president at KBR’s government solutions business and a 2020 Wash100 winner, said that ECARS “will allow first responders for the DoD and other federal agencies to capture, transmit, view and archive videos and critical data."
