The event ended with entertainer Patti LaBelle rocking the 1,000 plus crowd. Recap of Gov. Warner Fundraiser Event
Governor Warner is one of the rare politicians that will receive support from both Republicans and Democrats. On Tuesday night, at the home of Ranvir Trehan in McLean about 50 local executives mostly from the the business community showed up to support Gov. Warner in his race for Senate in 08.
Gov. Warner talked about why he is running for the Senate and not for President. He indicated that he did not want to just be Sen. Harry Reid’s 55th vote in the Senate. Some of the attendees included: Don Upson, Sudhakar Shenoy of IMC, Gary Nakatomo of Base Technologies, Bahman Atefi of Alion Science, Bert Notini of Apptis, Shiv Krishnan of Indus, Arun Gupta of Colombia Capital, Sanju Bansal of Microstrategy, and Mike Saylor of Microstrategy.
