As if Google’s announcement to buy DoubleClick for $3.1 billion was not enough, Google CEO Eric Schmidt has confirmed that there will be a presentation layer for Google Docs & Spreadsheets. While Google has web-based applications for word processing and spreadsheet management, the addition of a Power Point-style presentation application could be the final step in turning Google's online office suite into what some consider a serious Microsoft Office competitor.

"I'm always looking for outside organizations to join where I can learn important lessons or hear about other people's experiences that I can apply to my job. That's certainly been the case with ExecutiveBiz. What I especially like is the smaller, more focused gatherings which allows you to get deeper on a particular subject and the very diverse membership. It's helpful for me to hear from folks in different markets and professions."
